i saw a lot of these straw wreaths around the holidays. i really liked them but didn't have the time then to make it. i got to thinking that the red and white stripped ones would work just as well for valentine's day. i made two, one for a friend and one for myself. i got the directions from women's day magazine via pinterest. the directions left a lot to be desired and it was much harder on my OCD. in the end i do still like the look. just a note, the straws are biodegradable, if they get wet they get mushy.
the other craft was for my son's 100 days of school celebration. they needed to bring in a collection of a 100 somethings. we decided that googly eyes were the most fun you could have with 100. i had some left over fabric from the holidays and BAM! a 100 googly eyed monster.
